If you have been following our newsletters for awhile, you know that Daystar is owned and operated by die-hard off-road enthusiasts.  However, those enthusiasts are not just limited to those that run around on four wheels; we have some guys that prefer racing on two wheels as well.  Daystar CFO Chris Goodman (#99) and President Doug Goodman (#329)  are avid motocross racers, and both claimed wins at the Sandy Valley MX track just outside Las Vegas this past weekend!

Both Doug and Chris compete in the International Old Timer Motocross Series, an organization that holds a series of races throughout the western US and Canada.  The "OTMX," as the series is commonly known, sanctions races with the help of a variety of regional MX clubs.  They also hold a national points series each year in several different classes.  Chris claimed is first-ever overall win in the Amateur Class after a series of five motos, three of which he won.  Congrats, Chris!

Meanwhile, Doug continues to dominate the Masters Class, as he is undefeated so far this year.  Doug clinched the Masters Class OTMX points championship in 2010, and it would appear that he intends to have a repeat performance in 2011.  Doug won all five motos in the Masters class in Las Vegas, enabling him to take the overall win.
